Age-aware classrooms
Learners under 16 use a teacher-owned Google Meet. Learners aged 16–17 may use Discord only with recorded guardian consent. When a minor uses Discord, their guardian and designated safeguarding staff have channel visibility.
Communication boundaries
Teachers must not privately message minor learners. Lesson communication stays in the authorized classroom, where access and lifecycle events can be audited.
Guardian control
A guardian owns billing, consent, booking, and learner-profile management for minors. Guest learners must be eligible and accept before a classroom is provisioned.
Reporting and retention
Safeguarding reports and audit events are restricted to designated staff. Final retention periods, response targets, escalation contacts, and regional obligations will be set in the reviewed launch policy.
